Why I love Dell

A little story of the day. As you can probably expect, I'm a heavy laptop user. Now, I'm very happy with my "bigboy" laptop but recently I had some issues. One letter on the keyboard (the 'O') doesn't work smooth at all times and there's a little spot on my LCD screen, probably by some dust that got in it. So, I contacted Dell support by telephone. Okay, it took about 7 minutes before I got somebody on the phone, but that's part of the nostalgia of support calls, isn't it? Now, in the past the device would be collected by Dell and returned after 5 to 8 days if I'm not mistaken. Today however, I was very positively surprised to hear the new approach: a technician will come at home to do the repair, bringing a new keyboard and LCD screen with him (or her, wouldn't that be even nicer :-)). Right, that's 0 days without a laptop, just what I need!

Yep, and that is how they keep their customers happy even after selling them crappy hardware. Nah just kidding, Dell sells decent hardware. I especially love the XPS series!
