DevDays 2006 has come to an end
The Belgian Microsoft Dev & IT Pro Days edition 2006 has come to an end. In my opinion, it was a great event once more with tons of cool content and giving a good overview of what's coming from Microsoft in the next couple of months and years, including Windows Vista, Office 12, SharePoint v3, Longhorn Server, IIS 7, Exchange 12 and WinFX but also focusing on best practices around software development, the use of VSTS 2005, SharePoint stuff and a great SQL Server 2005 track with Donald Farmer and Don Vilen. Not to forget the keynotes by Wilfried Grommen, Rob Creemers and Rafal Luckaweicki. And I'm sure to have forgotten other great stuff...
And of course thanks to all attendees of my session on Windows Presentation Foundation on Thursday noon. Despite of the CTP demo hell, everything went fine and I hope you enjoyed to see how WPF will aid you in creating your next big thing in the Windows GUI space. And by the way, after filling out the evals, every attendee will receive a DVD with the recorded sessions. And once it becomes available, you'll get a DVD with Windows Vista Beta too!
